Tracy Stewart began her baking journey in 1990 as a home-based baker in Northern New Jersey. Her love for baking was inspired by her parents—her father filled their home with the aroma of fresh-baked biscuits and homemade apple pies, while her mother, a naturally gifted cook, taught her the art of cooking by feel rather than measurement. Their “pinch of this, dash of that” approach, always seasoned with love, became the foundation of Tracy’s baking style.

Drawing from her family’s inspiration, Tracy began creating cheesecakes in unique, creative flavors. What started as holiday gifts for family and friends soon grew into a beloved local tradition, spreading her reputation throughout the New York–New Jersey metro area. Known for converting even skeptics into cheesecake lovers, Tracy’s creations have reached remarkable milestones—most recently serving as the exclusive dessert for a star-studded VIP reception at the legendary Apollo Theater. Tracy will also be featured in an upcoming issue of the new magazine, Soul Food.
